Saving money is a big idea, but it’s never too early to start! 💰✨
In February 2026, Commercium launched Smart Save Juniors, a year-long financial literacy programme designed to introduce our youngest students to the basics of saving, spending wisely and making smart money choices. Running until the end of the academic year in June, the programme reached 625+ students across Years 2-4.
Our Commercium leaders and members visited classes in pairs, delivering interactive, age-appropriate sessions that introduced students to saving, rewards, goal-setting, delayed gratification, and the value of making thoughtful financial decisions. With smaller groups for each session, students had plenty of opportunities to participate, ask questions and, of course, share their very enthusiastic answers! 🥹
