Financial Literacy Programme

From the classroom to real-world finance, Commercium’s Sixth Formers got a glimpse into the financial decisions waiting beyond school. 💳💰

In collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank, Commercium hosted a dedicated financial literacy programme for our Sixth Form commerce members, designed to prepare students for the financial independence that comes with university and beyond.

Students explored practical topics they’ll soon encounter for themselves, including budgeting for university life, opening and managing bank accounts internationally, debit and credit cards, imports and exports, financial planning, and making responsible money decisions. Rather than focusing solely on theory, the session connected financial concepts to everyday situations and the decisions students may face while studying in the UAE or abroad.
